Terms of use
Read these with the privacy policy. Questions go to [email protected].
1. Who these terms cover
These terms apply to the Invoicerr website at invoicerr.com.au. Invoicerr is software for quotes, invoices, and the workspace around them. The person who runs this server and domain is the operator.
These terms are the operator's rules for using the site. They are written in plain language for customers and workspace owners. They are not legal advice and have not been certified by a lawyer.
Business contact: [email protected]. Signed-in users can also open Help and use Chat with support.
2. Accounts
You need an account to use the workspace. You confirm that the name and email you give are yours, and that you will keep the password private. Passwords are stored as salted scrypt hashes.
The first confirmed signup creates a workspace and makes that person the owner. The owner is responsible for who they invite and for the customer information stored in the workspace.
You can close access by asking support to delete the account. Flushing business data from Settings clears workspace records. It does not by itself remove the login.
3. Acceptable use
Use the product for your own quotes, invoices, jobs, and the records that belong with them. Do not use it to break the law, to harass someone, or to store material you have no right to keep.
Do not send bulk mail, scrape other workspaces, probe the service, or try to read another customer's documents. Do not share a portal link with people who should not see that quote or invoice.
Do not type card numbers into Invoicerr. Customers who pay by card do that on Stripe. Invoices can also show the bank details you enter, so they can pay by transfer instead.
Do not resell this hosted site as your own product. You may use it to bill your own customers.
4. Messages you send
When you send a quote, invoice, reminder, or team invite, Invoicerr emails it from [email protected] if the contact has an email address. You are responsible for the wording and for having a reason to contact that person.
Text-message reminders are not sent. If a send fails, the screen says so and the message is not marked as delivered.
5. Plans and limits
The free plan has limits on quotes, invoices, customers, and users. Paid plans are billed through Stripe to the workspace owner. A failed payment can return the workspace to the free limits.
Live card billing for Invoicerr plans stays off until a full test subscription has been checked. Prices shown on the pricing page are the prices the operator intends to charge.
6. Support
Support is the Help chat inside a signed-in workspace, and email to [email protected]. Quotes, invoices, and signup codes are sent from [email protected]. There is no phone line and no after-hours on-call roster.
The operator aims to reply within two business days (Monday to Friday, Sydney time), excluding public holidays. That is a target, not a guaranteed response time, and it does not cover outages caused by the network, the mail provider, or the host.
7. How long records are kept
Workspace data stays while the account exists. Quotes, invoices, payments, and customer records are kept so you can run the business and meet your own record-keeping duties.
A database backup is kept on the server for 14 days. When an encrypted off-site copy is configured, that copy follows the same retention. Deleting a record in the app removes it from the live database. Copies inside a backup remain until that backup ages out.
Signup codes and password-reset links expire on their own. Session cookies last 14 days.
8. Stopping the service
The operator can suspend a workspace that breaks these rules, or that puts other customers or the server at risk. Where it is safe to do so, you will get an email first.
You can stop using the site at any time. Ask support to delete the account if you want the login removed. Export anything you need before that request.
